The outcome of this service is the determination of those pipeline segments that could influence a High Consequence Area (HCA). The analysis includes calculations of possible product flow on oil pipelines and impact circle calculations for gas pipelines.
As an outline our services in the field of Class Location and / or HCA analysis include:
- Class Location analysis and definition following US CFR 192.5 for gas networks
- HCA analysis and definition in accordance with method 1 or method 2 following US CFR 192.903 for gas networks
- HCA analysis for liquid networks using different analysis methods. Direct and indirect impact analysis as well as overland transport can be performed
- Definition of customer specific HCA or Class Location models in accordance with national regulatory and / or data availability
Each service is conducted following quality assurance and quality control processes. Results are provided in detailed reports containing descriptions of all major steps of the service conducted as well as resulting HCA or Class Locations. HCA and/or Class Location analysis results will be provided in spatial output formats like geo-databases as well as in tabular formats.
