At ROSEN, we use the term Robotic to refer to battery-powered, self-propelled tools. Both the Robotic Pipe Scanner (RPS) and Robotic Survey System (RSS) fit within this definition and provide unique and effective solutions for inspecting unpiggable pipelines.

Robotic Pipe Scanner (RPS)
The Robotic Pipe Scanner (RPS) is presently capable of full, 360-degree coverage of above-ground carbon steel pipelines, such as product lines, flow lines or fire-water lines around refineries, which cannot be inspected using intelligent pigs.

Robotic Survey System (RSS)
The novel Robotic Survey System is being designed and built to provide intelligent and autonomous internal inspection of unpiggable pipelines. Most significantly it will be able to operate within a pipeline requiring no medium to drive it.
